Junior High Summer Tournaments
Singles Tournament (Coed)​
Location: Blackfoot HS Tennis Courts
Date: Saturday, July 12th
Time: 9 AM - 5:30 PM
Ages: 11-15
Fee: $27 ($18 entry fee + $6.25 site registration fee + tax)

Players will be separated into divisions based on their UTR rating and previous match records. Tournament format will be double elimination. Matches will be a 6 game pro-set, 7 point tiebreaker. All results will be recorded in UTR.

Time: 9 AM - 5:30 PM
Ages: 11-15
Fee: $21 per player ($12 entry fee + $6.25 site registration fee + tax)

Players are welcome to register with a partner, or individually. Those who sign up individually will be paired with someone. Doubles teams will be separated into divisions based on players' combined UTR rating and previous match records. Tournament format will be double elimination. Matches will be a 6 game pro-set, 7 point tiebreaker. All results will be recorded in UTR. ​​

Why participate in summer tournaments?​
Summer tennis tournaments are a great complement to our spring and fall team tennis leagues. While the leagues focus on team camaraderie and consistent weekly play, summer tournaments offer a unique opportunity for players to test their individual skills in a more competitive setting. Tournaments help kids set personal goals, build mental toughness, and gain valuable match experience that strengthens their confidence on and off the court. Plus, the flexible summer schedule gives families the freedom to choose events that fit their availability. Whether your child is just starting out or looking to take their game to the next level, summer tournaments are a fun and rewarding way to stay active and continue growing in the sport.

Who are the directors?
​Alicia Matsuura is the Managing Director of IYT Southeastern Idaho and Rob Allen is the Executive Director of IYT. He is a USPTA Nationally certified professional tennis instructor and the head tennis coach at Provo High School. Click HERE for more info about Rob.
All coaches are independent contractors, screened and contracted by IYT to coach and run their respective teams.
